Which Type of Aircraft Fits Your Trip?

Several types of aircraft are available for chartered flights; your choice will depend on a number of factors:

  • How many passengers will be traveling on the flight?
  • What is the length/distance of the flight?
  • Will your schedule allow for a fuel stop?
  • What level of comfort and amenities will your chartered flight require?
  • What price range fits your executive travel budget?
  • Where is the location of the selected aircraft relative to your origination point?
  • Will your private charter be domestic or international?

Once you have answered these basic questions about your planned itinerary, the ACS travel team will work with you to determine the type and size of aircraft that best fits your charter's needs. There are several types of aircraft that we consider for your charter flight, each with varying sizes, amenities, and capabilities:

1. Twin Engine prop plane
2. Light Jet ( Citation SII, Citation Encore)
3. Midsized Jet ( Citation Excel, Citation XLS)
4. Super Midsized Jet (Citation X, Challenger 300)
5. Heavy Jet (Gulfstream GIV, Challenger 604)
Prices will vary considerably between categories with the larger jets charging a fuel surcharge, flight attendant fees and higher landing/ramp fees.
